It’s Almost Yahtzee!! Rules

Yahtzee is a dice-rolling game with the aim of rolling poker-style combinations with dice. There are a total of 12 rounds, and your goal is to gain the highest possible score.

The Scoring

There are two scoreboards, Lower and Upper. Lower consists of every combination of pairs. Upper consists of Three/Four of a Kind, Low/High Straights, Yahtzee, and Chance. Three/Four of a Kind are the same dice three/four times, respectively. A Straight is consecutive numbers in a row. A Low Straight is 1,2,3,4,5, while a High Straight would be 6,5,4,3,2. A Yahtzee is 5 of the same number in a row, and Chance is every die added together.

The Buttons

The buttons will be disabled depending on what action is appropriate at the time. You get two rolls; on the second roll, you are able to hold any dice you want to keep and to roll the rest. You can then check your dice and select which score you would like to choose. After you select your score, the round ends.

No Match

When there is no match, a separate box will appear, which will require you to put a 0 into the selected score box.
